It is officially Valentine's Day! And it's so fitting that we share this little gem of a blow dry bar where we absolutely LOVED <3 the service we got! Belo Blow Dry Bar in Laguna Beach is tucked away on Laguna's trendy Forest Ave., a street lined with the trendiest shops, galleries, and eateries in LB.
I popped in on a Sunday, and I'm glad I did. It was quiet, chill, and oh so relaxing. I know they get super busy on Friday and Saturday's and I was in need of some calm and relaxing pampering, and that's just what I got at this chic and modern boutique style blow dry bar.
With two separate styling rooms, a comfortable shampoo area, and two different lounge areas, there's enough space in this cozy upstairs cottage like salon to have a whole group come in for special treatments (think bridal parties, birthday pampering sesh w/ a few of your friends, etc.) I'm sure the possibilities are endless because they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. They are super accommodating, so they get a thumbs up for customer service ( I was styled by Adam who was an absolute BOSS when it came to getting my hair completely fab - and I don't have the easiest hair!).
Belo Blow dry bar has been around for the past 2 years and offers a range of blow dry styling services. You can pick a style from their handy little style guide card that your stylist will share with you (styles like The Laguna, The London, The New York, and more), their signature Belo Blow Out will cost you about $45 plus tip, but it's worth the money to be pampered by their service and skills in the ambiance of this hip and chic salon.
Owner Patricia Musselman pays attention to the details; they often have events that they host at the salon, are active in supporting the local community, and then there's the fact that this female owned business just plain rocks! ( Notice the yummy candy buffet bar set up to treat yourself, after you've treated yourself!).
So if you need a good blow (out) - (be good now!) head over to Belo Blow Dry Bar...you can thank me later!
